A walk through the village of Stein.

The best way to get to Stein is to take the subway line 2 from the main train station to Röthenbach, where you then can take bus line 63 or 64 to the stop Stein Schloss.

I would like to start here at the entrance to the town, where you pass directly by the town-owned castle of the 19th-century Faber-Castell family of counts, which has been producing the world-famous pencils and other high-quality stationery of the same name for over 260 years.

The castle park attached to the castle and the factory grounds with its store are always perfect for a visit to pick up beautiful and unique gifts.

The path continues over the Rednitz Bridge with its old half-timbered houses directly on the Rednitz River. In addition, many small bridge-like paths continue from there. Perfect for a walk.

After that, we continue along the main street past the historic Martin Luther Church to the shopping center, the Steiner Forum. Here you can relax and have something to eat or just enjoy the peace and quiet after your little walk.

From there it is a few minutes walk along the main street and then again you have the possibility to take the bus line 63 or 64 to venture a visit to the Kristall Palm Beach if necessary.
